Behind the camera

I am a Screenwriter and Director based in Warsaw. I was born in 1992 in the north of France where I studied Law. Carried by the winds of travel, I enriched my search for meaning, which allowed me to refine my desire to reflect the beauty of the living. This is the reason why I like to focus on the stories which relate to the difficult topics and in particular the dramas of life. 

Self-taught, I decided to write my first feature film (Lost Tears) in 2017 which tells about the ravages of pedophilia and the difficulty of rebuilding yourself. Lost Tears will win a dozen awards and get twenty nominations around the world. Two years later, I embark on a whole different adventure with a comedy and Dirty Sean. The idea of ​​Dirty Sean is inspired by Michel AZANAVICIUS' movie "Mes Amis" in which one of the main characters, Alain CHABAT, is stuck in the bathroom because of repeated phone calls. This scene, as hilarious as it is ridiculous, hid a real comic and dramatic element for me. What if the worst of dramas happened to you, when at your least auspicious time… in the bathroom. Dirty Sean was born from this simple idea but evolved and subsequently was highly influenced by British comedys, notably Mr. Bean and The Office. Dirty Sean has so far won 2 awards and 5 nominations.

What I like with the cinema is being able to capture authenticity and transcribe it in such a way that the spectator can identify himself and help him find what he is looking for. The cinema before being an entertainment is for me a therapy which does not cease to make me move forward to better understand the world which surrounds me.
